Fereydoun Varahram & Workshop on 'Individual Filmmaking in Documentary Cinema'

Farhad Varahram, a renowned director and producer, will conduct a workshop on 'Individual Filmmaking in Documentary Cinema' at the 17th International Documentary Film Festival of Iran, known as "Cinema Verite."

According to the public relations department of the Documentary, Experimental, and Animation Cinema Development Center, Varahram, a prominent documentary filmmaker, writer, photographer, and producer, is the instructor of the workshop. He is actively engaged in the documentary film industry and is recognized for his contributions.

Born in 1948 in Borujerd, Varahram is a documentary maker, cinematographer, researcher, director, photographer, and writer. He commenced his artistic career in 1973 and has since been involved in various activities such as cinematography, directing, research, and photography. His artistic endeavors also include organizing several photography exhibitions in Iran, France, and Austria.

Some of Varahram's notable documentary films include "Bazaar in Ardahal," "Waterhouse," "Taraz," "The Camel's Murder," "Blacks of Southern Iran," "Sky," and "From the Alps to Mount Damavand."

The 17th International Documentary Film Festival of Iran, "Cinema Verite," will host workshops by Iranian and international documentary cinema experts on various topics. The festival, under the direction of Mohammad Hamidi Moghaddam, will take place from December 18th to 23rd at Charsou Cineplex."
