"Wood" Heads to Egypt

The short documentary "Wood," directed by Morteza Payehshenas, has been selected for the competition section of the 25th Ismailia International Documentary and Short Film Festival.

According to the film's public relations, the short documentary "Wood," directed by Morteza Payehshenas, has found its way to the competition section of the 25th Ismailia International Documentary and Short Film Festival in Egypt.

The focus of this festival, scheduled to take place from February 28th to March 6th in Ismailia, Egypt, is to promote cross-cultural dialogue and foster a deep understanding through the presentation of creative works. The festival aims to encourage filmmakers in the production of narrative and short documentary films.

The crew of the documentary "Wood" includes cinematographers Mohammad Sultan, Amirhossein Janpanah, Ali Nikbakht, color correction by Hamidreza Fotourehchian, sound design by Mohammad Hossein Ebrahimi, and editing by Morteza Payehshenas.

The international distribution of the film is managed by the International Unit of the Soureh Cinematic Organization.

"Wood" has also participated in various film festivals this year, including the Very Short Film Festival in France, the Very Short Film Festival Cour(t) de l'Arlington in the United States, the Reggio Film Festival in Italy, and more.
