Haboob Screened in Cologne
The short animation “Haboob” directed by Mahsa Samani,(Production of DEFC), was screened on March 30 in Cologne, Germany.
As reported by the Public Relations Department of Documentary, Experimental & Animation Film Center of Iran (DEFC), ‘Haboob’ is a 9-minute animation about a man and his daughter who have always lived in harmony with nature. However, unexpected disruptions alter their peaceful and idyllic life.
"Haboob" was showcased at an event called "Familiensonntag," or "Family Sunday." This monthly program, designed for children aged 4 to 12, offers creative activities such as shadow play, painting on blank film, and stop-motion workshops. The event is free of charge, and no prior registration is needed.
Haboob is produced by Documentary, Experimental & Animation Film Center of Iran (DEFC).
