Over the Clouds to Be Featured at the Big Cartoon Festival
The short animation ‘Over the Clouds’ by Mehdi Bargh Zadegan will be shown at the 19th Big Cartoon Festival in Russia.
According to the Public Relations Department of Documentary, Experimental, and Animation Film Center (DEFC), the short animation ‘Over the Clouds’ directed by Mehdi Bargh Zadegan, has been selected for the official competition program of the Big Cartoon Festival. The festival will have its 19th edition this year and will be held in hybrid format with both online and offline screenings.
Over the Clouds was previously honored with the Golden Butterfly Award for Best Animation at Iran International Film Festival for Children and Youth.
The 19th Big Cartoon Festival (BCF) will take place in Moscow, Russia, between the dates of October 24 – November 5, 2025.
The Big Cartoon Festival is the largest annual animation festival in Russia.
Over the Clouds is a production of the Documentary, Experimental, and Animation Film Center (DEFC), and has been distributed internationally by the same organization.
