Pathetic Travels to Greece
The short animation “Pathetic” directed by Narges Zakeri (produced by DEFC), entered the competition section of the 8th S.F.N. Loutraki Animation Festival in Greece.
As reported by the Public Relations department of the Documentary, Experimental, and Animation Film Center (DEFC), "Pathetic" is the name of one of the Beethoven's sonatas, and the main character of the story is a pianist. The theme of this animation is about the psychological breakdown of a human being, which leads to the creation of a work of art.
Short Film Night (SFN) is an annual celebration of animation, honoring both its artistry and craftsmanship. Set in Loutraki, Corinth, Greece, the event will take place in July 2025. SFN showcases a dynamic selection of animated films from around the world, featuring stop-motion, 2D, 3D, and experimental works.
Pathetic, produced and internationally distributed by the Documentary, Experimental, and Animation Film Center (DEFC), and has been screened at various festivals.
