Indonesia and Iran Can Have Film Co-Production Projects

Indonesian documentary filmmaker: Documentary film-making in Iran is very professional and I'm personally ready to work with Iranian filmmakers and to assess filmmaking opportunities.

Speaking at the 19thIran International Documentary film festival, Lamtiar Simorangkir, the Indonesian documentary filmmaker said:" It's the first time I'm travelling to Iranand I'm baffled by the amount of sheer interest audiences show in documentaryfilms". She stressed that: "Documentary films are a good avenue to illuminate issues and to attempt to fix them. "

Reflecting on her film "Where's Home?", screened in the international section of the festival, she said "The film is about Indonesian children who wereborn and raised inside a prison "Lamtiar Simorangkir added: " A large number of children in Indonesia are born inside prisons. This film has a more universal vision and tries to address issues that affectchildren and could happen anywhere in the world."
