Over the Clouds to be Screened at Lisbon Animation Festival

As reported by the Public Relations Department of Documentary, Experimental & Animation Film Center of Iran (DEFC), the short animation ‘Over the Clouds’ by Mehdi Bargh Zadegan has been selected for the official competition program of the MONSTRA - Lisbon Animation Festival.

The main goal of Lisbon Animation Festival is to present and promote the best animated films from around the world. This festival is one of the most important artistic events in Lisbon, Portugal, and is held every year in March.

Over the Clouds is a production of the Documentary, Experimental, and Animation Film Center (DEFC) and has also been distributed internationally by the center.

MONSTRA - Lisbon Animation Festival will take place between 12 and 22 March 2026 in Lisboa, Portugal.

In addition to numerous domestic and international screenings, Over the Clouds has also received various awards from film festivals.
