A Letter to António Guterres from a Documentary Filmmaker

Acording According to the Public Relations department of Documentary, Experimental, and Animation Film Center (DEFC), Meysam Shah Babaee, an Iranian documentary filmmaker, wrote a letter to the Secretary-General of the United Nations.

"You know very well that what you are doing to the people, and your silence in the face of injustice, will be remembered in history.” He noted in the letter.

The letter follows: "In the name of humanity, I remind you that the position and prestige you hold today are temporary. Act with a clear conscience, and do not allow the devastation of this war to spread any further. Take a step to protect human lives and dignity, and stand courageously against oppression and unjust rule over free people who seek only to live in peace. As Secretary-General of the United Nations, play a meaningful and effective role in promoting peace and equality among nations.”
