The animations "A Tale for Mohsen",” Galliformes”, “The Last Deer”, and “The Path We Have Taken” produced by DEFC will compete in the competition section of Cartoon Club – the International Festival of Animation, Comics, and Games.
According to the Public Relations department of the Documentary, Experimental, and Animation Film Center (DEFC), the Cartoon Club—now in its 42nd edition—is one of the most renowned events on the Italian cultural scene. The International Festival of Animation, Comics, and Games offers a vibrant showcase for animation, particularly short films ranging from fiction and educational pieces to experimental and computer-generated works. Additionally, a dedicated section called Riminicomix celebrates the world of comics in all its forms.
The festival also includes a wide array of events and initiatives: – exhibitions; – educational and social projects; – workshops hosted in local schools; – and the publication of books and catalogs. Held throughout July, the festival spreads across Rimini, from the city center to its beachside venues.
A Tale for Mohsen, directed by Mojtaba Taraki, Galliformes, by Sara Ali Moradi, The Last Deer by Mehdi Bargh Zadegan, and The Path We Have Taken by Narges Fazli are productions of the Documentary, Experimental, and Animation Film Center (DEFC). These works have been distributed internationally by the same organization.
