Iranian Phoenix vying at Poland film festival

The short animation "Phoenix," directed by Mona Shams, produced by the Documentary, Experimental, and Animation Cinema Center, has been selected to compete in the Rising of Lusitania - AnimaDoc Film Festival in Poland.
According to the Public Relations of the Documentary, Experimental, and Animation Cinema Center, the animation "Phoenix" explores the meaning of migration and leaving one's homeland, utilizing the real voices of Iranian immigrants around the world.
"Phoenix," which has participated in various festivals this year, has recently entered the main competition section for the Best Professional Documentary Animation Film at the fifth edition of the Rising of Lusitania - AnimaDoc Film Festival in Poland.
A total of 645 works were submitted to the festival from 79 different countries during this edition, with a particular focus on the unique genre of animated documentaries. The festival is scheduled to take place from November 25th to 28th this year.
The distribution of "Phoenix" is handled by the international unit of the Documentary, Experimental, and Animation Cinema Center.
