Iranian animation to vie at Taiwan festival

The animations "Piano," "Colonel," "Phoenix," and "Dream Weaves into the Blue Sea," produced by the Center for the Development of Documentary, Experimental, and Animation Cinema, have found their way to the Taiwan Animation Festival.

According to the public relations report of the Center for the Development of Documentary, Experimental, and Animation Cinema, the animations "Piano," directed by Marjan Kashani and Shahab Shamsi, "Colonel," created by Parastoo Kardgar, "Phoenix," directed by Mona Shams, and "Dream Weaves into the Blue Sea," produced by Maryam Khalilzadeh, all produced by the center, have been nominated for awards at the 15th edition of the Hsin-Yi 2023 Children's Animation Awards by the foundation of the same name in Taiwan.

The goal of this festival is to award talented animators from around the world who produce diverse films for child and adolescent audiences. The international broadcast of these animations is facilitated by the International Unit of the Center for Development.

The winners of this festival will be announced on December 16, 2023.
