2314 Film Submissions from 123 Countries for the 18th Cinema Vérité Film Festival
The 18th edition of the Festival has received a total of 2314 film submissions, including 1625 short, 500 feature-length, and 189 mid-length documentaries.
The public relations department of Documentary, Experimental and Animation Film Center (DEFC) has reported that participants from 123 countries have submitted their films for consideration in the 18th edition of Iran International Documentary Film Festival, Cinema Vérité. With the deadline for registration and application submission now past, the festival is looking forward to showcasing a diverse range of films from around the world.
The 18th edition of the Festival has received a total of 2314 film submissions, including 1625 short, 500 feature-length, and 189 mid-length documentaries. Filmmakers from 123 countries, including Canada, the UK, India, Brazil, Spain, Egypt, Turkey, Italy, Russia, Argentina, the United States, China, France, Germany, Mexico, Indonesia, Portugal, and Greece, have contributed to the festival's diverse selection of documentary films.
The 18th Iran International Documentary Film Festival, Cinema Vérité will be held in December 2024 under the direction of Mohammad Hamidi Moghadam.
