19th Cinema Verite’s Jury Members for International Competitions Unveiled

A Spanish film festival director, a Russian cinema critic and journalist, and an Iranian documentary filmmaker have been named to the jury for the short and medium-length documentary competition, while a Serbian director, a Palestinian filmmaker, and another Iranian documentary filmmaker will serve as judges for the feature-length section of the 19th Cinema Verite Film Festival.

According to Cinema Verite Festival Press Center, the jury members of the 19th Iran International Documentary Film Festival “Cinema Verite” for two competition sections have been announced.

Ana María Álvarez Muriel, a Spanish film expert and film festival director, Vasilii Yevgenievich Stepanov, a cinema critic, journalist, and chief editor of Seans magazine from Russian, and Arash Lahooti, an Iraninan director, and documentary filmmaker, comprise the jury of the International Short and Mid-Length Documentary Competition.

The jury for the International Feature Competition of the 19th Iran International Documentary Film Festival “Cinema Verité” includes Goran Radovanović, a Serbian director and writer, Rashid Masharawi, a Palestinian film director and producer; and Farshad Fereshteh-Hekmat, a documentary filmmaker and university professor from Iran.

The 19th Iran International Documentary Film Festival- Cinema Verite is being held from December 10 to 16 at Mellat Cineplex.
