While attending the 19th International Cinema Verite Festival, he commented “I seldom attend festivals, but I regard Iran as highly successful in the realm of cinema. Just last year, I watched several impressive documentaries from Iranian filmmakers.”

Regarding his film “Ceasefire,” he continued: “My film is about a character named Hazira, who survived the Srebrenica massacre during the Bosnian war.” Krese emphasized: “Even after 29 years, she still lives in a refugee camp near Tuzla, and is unable to return to her village, which is now part of Serbia.”
He added: “In this documentary, I tried to show the traumas caused by the war.”
