Documentary, Experimental & Animation Film Center (DEFC) of Iran organizes the 18th Iran International Documentary Film Festival "CinemaVérité" in December 2024. Depicting history and culture of Islamic society, safeguarding the national identity based on Iranian and religious ideas, promoting the Iranian creative documentary, introducing the world cinema to the Iranian filmmakers and paying due attention to the importance of economy of documentary cinema with an emphasis on removing the barriers to the production, distribution, and display of such works in the domestic and international arena are considered as principles and purposes of the festival.
